New Years Eve
Begin the day with a traditional Cornish breakfast, then embrace the outdoors with a guided winter walk along the coast and a scenic boat trip on the River Fal — complete with hot chocolate and nibbles.
As evening draws in, freshen up for the night’s festivities. Begin with a Champagne and canapé reception, before gathering around the banquet table for an exquisite Gala Dinner, accompanied by live music.
At midnight, choose your celebration style: either cross the harbour to our sister venue, The St Mawes Hotel, for live music, and a glass of fizz or stay at The Idle Rocks for a more relaxed celebration with live music and bubbles by the sea.
New Years Day
Wake to the sound of the waves and enjoy a leisurely New Year’s Day breakfast — with a Bloody Mary to revive the senses.
Later, explore one of the local gardens before returning for a Cornish wine tasting paired with seafood nibbles.
The evening concludes with a celebratory New Year’s Day buffet, showcasing the finest local produce.
