We are delighted to welcome Carla Jones to The Idle Rocks, as Head Chef of The Reef Knot Restaurant.
Carla is a well-respected head chef with an obsession for culinary excellence and an impressive and extensive hospitality background.
She started in kitchens at the age of 14, later moving to London and earning a Certificate of Excellence from the renowned Pierre Koffman.
Carla’s talent and dedication to her craft were further recognised when she featured on MasterChef in 2018 and as Head Chef at the Seacliff Hotel in Devon was recently awarded 3 AA Rosettes and listed in the Michelin Guide.
This year, Carla competed in the IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, representing England; the team came home with double silver medals.

Carla’s menu has a strong focus on fish and seafood, working with our dedicated fisherman Gareth Austin who delivers the freshest seafood from local waters to the restaurant daily.
