A trip to St Mawes wouldn’t be complete without a day aboard a yacht!
“Celtic Spirit” is a wonderful 32ft yacht that belongs to our friend and neighbour Gawain Bysouth. He has a wealth of knowledge and as well as being an experienced skipper, Gawain is also a fully RYA (Royal Yacht Association) qualified sailing instructor, who can either help you learn the ropes or skipper the boat while you sit back and enjoy the scenery.
“Celtic Spirit” can comfortably accommodate 4 guests, and we can organise a half day or full day of sailing, perhaps to include a lunch stop on the Helford or Fal River.
Or, if you are looking for something a little more personal, then why not learn the ropes in our 16ft “Reef Knot Osprey” dinghy. Belonging to the Hotel, it’s ideal for discovering your inner Skipper!
