Can I bring a dog?
At The Idle Rocks, we have two ground-floor bedrooms in our adjoining cottage, where well-behaved dogs are most welcome to stay with their owners. For your arrival, we’ll prepare your room with a dog bed, welcome treats, a bowl for water, and maps of local walks with information on dog-friendly beaches. We charge a one-off fee of £30 for the full duration of your stay.
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs in the main hotel. Should you not wish to leave your dog in your room, you can dine at our sister property, The St Mawes Hotel, where your dog is most welcome in the Lower Deck bar and restaurant.
What time is check in?
Check in is from 3pm (earlier if your room is available). Check out is before 11am (later departures may be arranged upon request)
Is parking available?
We have plenty of parking in the nearby public carpark, with a limited amount of free parking. See our Getting Here page for further details of our parking services
How do I book a room?

We have some rooms which contain either bunk beds or sofa beds which are suitable for families. Please visit our Family Rooms page
