Wine Specialist / Sommelier
We are looking for an enthusiastic and interesting individual to join our Food & Beverage Service team as a Supervisor and Wine Specialist / Sommelier
In 2020 we will reposition our cuisine to reflect the style of our new Head Chef Dorian Janmaat, who joins us following 3 years as Head Chef at Raymond Blanc’s 2 x Michelin starred Restaurant Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. Dorian will define a new culinary future when The Idle Rocks re-opens in February.
Based predominately at the Idle Rocks, the successful applicant will be charismatic, have excellent attention to detail, experience of working in a similar type of restaurant, and a minimum of WSET level two qualification.
This is not just any wine specialist job, it is an exciting opportunity to inspire and enable others whilst making a significant impact to wine sales via recommendations and pairing that enhance the overall dining experience.
