Tim took home three prestigious accolades at the South West Chef of the Year Awards 2018. He accepted awards for “Best Dish Presentation”, “Professional Chef of the Year”, and “Overall Best Chef of the Year”.

Tim is hosting an exclusive event at The Idle Rocks on 9th February 2019, inviting guests to meet him and enjoy his winning menu.

Tickets are £50 per person which includes the three course menu or £85 per person to include matching wines and aperitif.

About Tim and his Success:

Tim has worked at the Idle Rocks for two years and was promoted to Sous Chef in 2018. His previous experience includes working with Rick Stein at the Seafood Restaurant in Padstow, Le Gavroche and Marcus Wareing in London, and The Driftwood Hotel in Cornwall.

The finalists cooked a three-course menu using compulsory ingredients revealed just one week ago, as well as a mystery box of ingredients supplied just 30 minutes before the final began. Tim’s winning dish included tiger milk with coriander mayonnaise with pickled apples and mussels.

Dine and Stay for only £200 per person

Guests who would like to stay overnight are offered our Dine and Stay package at £200 per person (based on two people sharing a Harbour View Room).

This includes one night’s accommodation with a Full Cornish Breakfast the next day as well as Tim’s winning three course menu with matching wines.
