Spooky News

So it seems our sister property, St Mawes Hotel, is planning quite a party on Friday 31st October – all welcome, so come and enjoy a night in the village. Prizes for best costume and a lot more fun besides, with live music and great food from our new team in the kitchens. Hope to see you there.

Good Hotel Guide 2015 Award

Along with the recent nomination from the Cornwall Tourism Award for Best Small Hotel, we also found out that The Good Hotel Guide 2015 had given us the Editor’s Choice Award for “Discovery” putting us on the map as a new arrival. Thank you to them and all who have supported us. An early Christmas present.

Cornwall Tourism Awards

We were absolutely delighted to discover that The Idle Rocks had been shortlisted for Best Small Hotel in the 2014 Cornwall Tourism Awards. Another accolade greatly welcomed and appreciated. Apparently 146 properties were looked at across the county, so we were obviously thrilled that such a revered organisation should hold us in high esteem. Hope to be announcing even more exciting news in November….
